About the Event:

a captivating event dedicated to leveraging the rich tapestry of African music, storytelling, and cultural exchange to foster understanding, collaboration, and positive change. We aim to build coalitions and promote more complete and accurate narratives about Africa and its diverse peoples through public education, social documentation, and storytelling.

EVENT AGENDA

April 20, 2024
The African Market Place at Florin Square

● Arrival/Registration

● 6-7 pm: Arrival, food & beverage, light entertainment and conversation

● 7 pm: Africa Day 2024 opens

● 7-8 pm: welcome address, opening performance, video presentation, keynote speaker, Africa Day 2025 announcement

● 8-9 pm: other announcement, stories, q & a, closing performance

● 9:30-12:30 after party - location TBD
